Qualifying rules for PRO and NON-PRO League
We have received questions about qualifying for our PRO and NON-PRO League, and we would like to clarify our stance.
Referring to our rules:
"If you tried to qualify for PRO league and you did not qualify, your team can still qualify for NON PRO. However, a player cannot play in both PRO and NON-PRO, only one or the other. If we catch this, the PRO league team will receive a game loss while the NON PRO team will be suspended for the season. I also want to clear up that anyone can participate in NON PRO aslong as no members are part of PRO league."
This implies that a team can participate either in our PRO League, or in our NON-PRO League, but cannot participate in both. For example, Team ProDota2 fails to qualify for PRO League, they can still qualify for NON-PRO League, vice versa.
There are no rules limiting which players can play in NON-PRO, as long as all players participate only in one league. Therefore, it does not matter if a player or team has professional competitive experience, they can still register for NON-PRO.
Please abide the rules, and do not hesitate to ask if in doubt. We look forward to seeing your registrations, and wish you best of luck.
Requesting Stream update
We have received good feedback about giving the public an oppurtunity to stream. We do however, need to state that not all stream requests will be granted.
Stream request must come with a link to your stream channel that must include previous casting VODs. All streamers will be accessed by us, and we will decide whether to warrant the slot to you.
We have received much request for English and Russian streams. We are always looking for more streams on other languages, particularly German and Chinese. If you can stream in such languages, kindly request stream in the forums and include your stream address for accessment.
Once again, ProDota2 thank you all for your interest in our league, we look forward to bring you great games.
